Levi’s Haircut & Jack 7 weeks old

March 28, 2008 11:18 am

So I took Levi to a good ole’ southern barber shop, because Daddy was suppose to have cut his hair now for WEEKS! :) I should have known it was a mistake when the barbor asked if me if Levi had a comb over :) I told him that we just kinda spiked it alittle….in barber language I guess that means FLATTOP!!!! 3 haircuts these sweet old men can cut : comb over, buzzed off, or flattop. and yes Levi walked out of there with a flat top. I have to admit I have not seen one of those in quite some time, or have I seen the “famous” round brush that my brother Tim use to have to get the hair to stick up like that. We are hopeful that once it is washed that he will not look like he belongs in the MC hammer era! Levi is quite proud of himself, and especially enjoyed the gum that the man gave him after the haircut! I guess we should stick to Daddy cutting his hair!

Jack is now 7 weeks old, and growing like a weed! He is getting so heavy! he still isn’t sleeping through the night but goes longer at night and once he eats goes straight back to sleep. He is a very content baby, and loves to smile and coo. His 2 month checkup is coming up soon. I can’t wait to see how much he weighs!

Our house is coming along. They finished the hardwoods downstairs and are finishing them up in Donald’s office upstairs. They will begin tiling soon. The primer on the walls is almost complete, and the final coats of paint will be put on next week or so.

Wow, Levi! That’s an amazing haircut. I guess next time Daddy will find time to cut your hair, huh? Or Mommy will get out the clippers herself. I think it looks cool, though! Old school.
